Expansion: More recruits will boost the Gorilla Accounting team
LOSTOCK headquartered digital accountancy firm Gorilla Accounting has revealed plans for further growth after adding 1,300 new clients and making 35 appointments in 2023.
Gorilla was founded in 2015 and has achieved record growth over the past 18 months, including 23 new recruits and 12 promotions in 2023.
To meet the demand of its expanding client base of self-employed contractors, freelancers, and those operating through limited companies, Gorilla has announced a new recruitment drive for accountants in client-facing roles at all levels.
As one of the highest ranked accountancy firms on Trustpilot, Gorilla has built a strong reputation for specialist tech-enabled accounting services.
Itis the latest milestone on Gorilla’s growth journey, following its acquisition by the international accountancy and advisory firm Azets in June 2023.
Dan Fallows, Gorilla’s managing director, said: “We have built an exceptional reputation for accountancy excellence and our rapid expansion is testament to Gorilla’s commitment to our clients and our people.
“We have welcomed 23 new colleagues this year, and rewarded 12 members of the team with well-deserved internal promotions.
“This new recruitment drive underlines our growth ambition, underpinned by investment in people and technology, to meet the strong demand for tech-enabled accounting services.
“A career at Gorilla is built on mutual trust and focussed on providing our people with all the tools they need to develop personally and professionally. We offer high levels of autonomy and a broad range of experience.”
Gorilla Accounting was founded by Dan and Tim Murphy in 2015 with the ambition of modernising and digitising the accountancy market for small companies and individuals seeking a hassle-free, personalised service.
In the UK, Azets is a top 10 accountancy firm and employs more than 3,800 people, with 90 offices nationwide.
